Looking to Participate in the SummerNight Markets?
We welcome a wide range of vendors from throughout the Comox Valley and beyond. We seek to bring new and unique products to our visitors and welcome your addition! In 2019, .
Vendor registration will open in Early 2019. Stay tuned!
Unique to this market is our community engagement & education zone. A barrier-free place where visitors can learn something new (and FUN)… from you!
We will supply the tent and a small sound system, tables & chairs (if needed). You provide the education & everything else you need for your offering. We suggest 45-75 minutes, with a low-cost entry fee (or by donation). $75/week /workshop
Easy! We’d like a max of 2 workshops per week, and aim to have them all scheduled before the first market so they can be promoted as a “thing”.
Social Zone applications will open in Early 2019.
We are now accepting applications for both “main stage” and busker performances.
If you’ve got a secret talent… or a not so secret talent… that you’d like to share with our audiences, we’re interested to meet you!
Main stage performances are for two 35-45 minute sets of original music. Our stage is suitable solo, duo or trio performers. Basic PA is provided, you should bring your own amps and microphones.
Buskers must be family friendly, but any type of entertainer is welcome. We encourage street theatre and circus acts in particular! Buskers must be self-sufficient – eg. if you need amplification, you should be battery powered.
We are actively seeking sponsors!
If you're looking for a great way to be in front of a big, engaged, buying audience... in Downtown Courtenay... consider becoming a sponsor for our stage, signage and social zone activities. If you are interested in discussing how sponsorship can benefit you, please contact Lori at [email protected]
