My fine art practice includes charcoal drawings, mixed media and assemblage work. I often use digital techniques as part of my work. I enjoy collaborative work, and I work jointly with others as opportunities arise. I teach upon request; have taught advertising design, silkscreen printmaking, drawing and visual language/creative process courses at college, community and individual levels. I am also a freelance graphic designer.
The struggle for social justice is a major issue for me, and I participate as an artist and activist in many local political projects.
I was born in Victoria, BC. I'm a UBC graduate (Vancouver, Canada). I have two grown children, and I live in the woods with my dog in Deep Bay, Vancouver Island. My work appears in several private collections in Canada and the US.
