Mary McMahon is a local Royton, BC artist. Through using different mediums and techniques she draws her inspirations from nature, life time experiences and self. Her art is adventurous, ranging from realism to abstract to whimsical.
Through out her life (school, nursing, marriage, children, designing clothes) she alway loved art. She took evening courses and joined art groups when and where ever she could. She won a few awards in Dartmouth, N.S. Her art has been sold across Canada, England, France, Austria and Germany. She recently has taken a printing course at NIC under the guidance of Linda Perron which added more avenues of expression.
When she is not creating art or in the garden she can be found kayaking and fly fishing on the beautiful west coast that she calls home.
