The Campbell River Arts Council, as part of the Art&Earth Festival, is going to host a Plein Air Paint Out on Saturday, September 21.
Painting will be on the Seawalk near Fogg Dukkers Coffee Shop (gotta have coffee!) at 907 Island Highway in Campbell River. Marvellous views of Quadra Island and the lighthouse.
This event will be held between 10am and 4pm at this wonderful location - weather permitting. Please bring everything you need to paint, chair, etc. Although coffee, treats and lovely things available at Fogg Dukkers.
We are looking for artists to participate. If you would like to be a part of this Festival, please contact me at this email ([email protected]), or personally ([email protected]).
There will also be a couple of tents available to show your artwork on Sunday, September 22 as part of the Haig-Brown Festival at Haig-Brown House, 2250 Campbell River Road. Please let me know if you are interested in showing and/or selling your art (pieces created on the Saturday and/or small items such as note cards) on the Sunday. We do not take commissions for any art sold.
