MusicArt Salon is pleased to invite you an “all original” house concert in Cumberland on the evening of Friday, Sept 16th.

We say "all original" because that’s the program. Original songs written and sung by singer/songwriter David Freeman who has composed over 200 songs. And original poetry by Comox Valley’s bard Dan Kirk, now retired, and who will no doubt continue to tickle his writing muse again once his kitchen reno is completed!  Dan and David will play off one another by taking turns: David offering up quiet songs sung to his finger-picking guitar accompaniment and David by enhancing his muse with his sonorous voice.

As well, the house will be filled with original art by beloved Lisa Kirk, the untamed artist, who is bringing her “tiny tribe” of weird and wonderful painted creatures, and by the encaustic, ice-cream coloured flower creations of Nicollette Valikoski.  In other words, you’ll have the pleasure of sitting in a wonderland of fanciful art while enjoying an intimate evening of poetry and song.
