Youth Media Project is a program for community action through media involving 9 participants between the ages of 16 – 30. In this 13-week program, youth receive training in video production, gain employability skills, and work with a network of community partners to create videos through work placements - highlighting community resources, and presenting ideas for community change. The project welcomes all youth, including immigrant youth, Aboriginal youth, streetinvolved youth and others who face barriers to employment.

TO APPLY YOU MUST BE:
-Interested in art & video
-Between the ages of 16 and 30
-Not attending school full-time
-Legally entitled to work in Canada
-Not on EI
-Experiencing barriers to employment

PARTICIPANTS RECEIVE
-Full-time minimum wage employment (13 Weeks)
-Experience in video production, sound design and media production
-Consultations in career development
