The Digital Innovation Group (DIG) is exploring ways in which organizational change and innovation can enable the arts to bring value to the Vancouver Island and Gulf island region.

As part of this process, Nordicity consultants are holding a roundtable to bring together a wide variety of regional stakeholders from government to business leaders. As a local leader, we’d like to invite you to participate in an upcoming online facilitated session. Your participation is crucial to ensuring findings are grounded in current realities and future trends impacting the region.

When: Tuesday, September 22nd, 10:00am – 12:00pm

Where: The session will be held digitally – secured links will be sent to registered participants prior to the session

This facilitated roundtable will be future looking, and will likely cover the following themes:

  • Identifying the intersection of arts with other sectors in the region, such as tourism and technology
  • Understanding key demographic changes and their impacts on arts and culture in the region
  • Considering programming opportunities (including educational) that would benefit communities
  • Exploring partnership opportunities for cross sectoral collaboration and to influence the regional arts ‘brand’

We are very conscious of constraints on your time, but your insights are tremendously valuable to us. Please confirm attendance on Eventbrite by September  16th. If there is another member of your organization who would be in a better position to speak to these issues, we would appreciate it if you could extend this invitation to that person.

Comox Valley Arts is one of six Vancouver Island Arts Councils participating in the DIG project.
