It’s going to be a little bit country and a whole lot of fun at the next MusicArt house concert (Cumberland).

Two Shows: Fri Nov 18th (7:30 pm) and Sat Nov 19th (1 pm.) Tickets: $20 Call: 250-336-2808

Jess Lee will be strumming his guitar and singing, accompanied by Cumberland’s Blaine Dunaway on the violin, cincello and horn. Art by Ian Fry, Sandi Lamb, and Jacques de Backer.

You want a ticket because this is the *real deal* or the 'pure manure' as my dad would say.
Jess was signed by RCA as the leader singer of the Midnite Rodeo Band.
His first solo album included 5 Canadian chart hits including the #1 hit Crowhill Road
Crowhill Road was voted song of the year by the BCCMA while Lee garnered the Male Vocalist of the Year award.
Lee’s collaboration with songwriter Bonnie James resulted in the album Sacred Ground, nominated for a Juno Award.
His CD Born in the North was one of the top 10 album picks for 2004.
He was inducted in the BCCMA Hall of Fame in 2011.
According to Country Music News he’s “the best pure country voice in Canada."

AND, there will be art - and I mean stellar art - the likes of which you won’t see often. The photo in this email is just the top edge of Sandi Lamb’s latest, Ghosts of the Gathering Dusk - a stunning painting of cattle on the range.

We’ll also have lots of paintings of horses and cows - to set the ambiance you know - by two other local artists: Ian Fry and Jacques de Backer. I guarantee you the work of these three artists have not been seen together before, nor is this selection your average fare. So be sure to come early to view the art.

Grab your cowboy boots and let’s have some fun. Looking forward to seeing you.
