Michel Rivero is your instructor. He was born and raised in the outskirts of Havana, Cuba. Before leaving Cuba, in 2016, Michel held the position of Professor of Music at Clave del Sol, a school of music for stringed and percussion instruments. Michel is multi-talented playing guitar, ukulele, tres, bass, and numerous percussion instruments. In addition, he teaches guitar (private and group lessons), writes songs and composes music alongside his wife, singer and songwriter, Christine Baxter. Together they are the local duo, Sweet SantaFe.
What to expect: You will learn how to play songs in different styles of music such as rock, pop, ballads, and waltz using a variety of chords.
You will need: Ukulele or guitar, notebook, pen, binder to hold your music, and your gusto to learn, practice, and play.
