Seeing Through a Sculptor’s Eyes – Free Artist Talk

A discussion on the thought process that a sculptor uses when designing and building a piece of art. Where the ideas come from and how an idea is transformed into a finished sculpture.

January 22 – 1pm at the Vancouver Island Visitor Centre - join Bill Friesen to discover the different way that a Sculptor looks at the world. Friesen has been an artist since a young age, primarily in and around sculpting, but also drawing and painting. He works in metal, wood, and stone.

This free artist talk is for anyone who is curious about sculpture, what inspires a sculptor and how they might use their artform to interpret the world.
