Drawing 2 – Landscape Drawing

Learn some of the skills behind capturing believable and inspiring landscape scenes in drawing. In this
class we will practice techniques for drawing landscape features such as trees, water, rocks and clouds.

You will also discover how to arrange an interesting composition, create convincing perspective and add human elements to your drawing such as buildings. You will use drawings and paintings for inspiration, as well as learn how to work from a photograph. Materials you will explore are: pencil, pen and ink and charcoal.

If you want to get more out of the class, homework will be given for you to further practice exercises on your own time, but is completely optional.
