The Comox Valley Community Arts Council works to facilitate and animate arts and culture in the community. Through our involvement in a wide variety of cultural activities, workshops, events, festivals, exhibition spaces, seasonal programs, and support of members groups, we actively educate and promote the Comox Valley as a creative and dynamic arts producing center.
Since 1965, the Comox Valley Community Arts Council has acted as an advocate for emerging arts and culture in the Comox Valley. We serve the community – inviting artists of all kinds to participate in our events and providing support to those who are pursuing higher artistic excellence.
Ultimately, we serve our community. Our membership is comprised of artists of all disciplines, and is open to anyone. Although we are often viewed as visual-art centric, we absolutely welcome and embrace creators in every genre. From a community perspective, we see our position as one of an umbrella – assisting and supporting the myriad other arts groups and individuals who have chosen the Comox Valley as their muse.
